Charging Fleet into the Future

Fleet management is on the cusp of major change, as seventy-three percent of fleet operators report plans to transition their fleet to electric, hybrid, and hydrogen cell vehicles within the next five years. While much of the mobility industry remains focused on general consumer needs, it’s essential that Public agencies, Universities and those in the private sector join the movement to electrify with the right support and streamlined solutions to ensure a successful transition to mixed or zero emissions fleets.  WEX, with over 500,000 fleet customers around the globe, will leverage its 40 years of experience powering fleets alongside UCLA to discuss the challenges many public and commercial fleets will face in their electrification transitions as well as the solutions available today.  With a wealth of customer experiences to build from, alongside the experiences and insights UCLA has to offer, WEX will utilize real-world examples of fleet electrification for those customers. This will be done by providing insights into the challenges of electrifying without the right infrastructure and knowledge base, as well as the major strengths of electrifying in ways that are empowered by expertise and proper infrastructure development.
